AERIAL WORK PLATFORMS (AWPs)

Hydronit Srl produces mini and micro modular hydraulic power packs and DC electropumps, for mobile, industrial and marine applications.

Aerial work platforms (AWPs), also known as aerial lifts or elevated work platforms, are essential tools in various industries for safely lifting workers to heights. However, their use is not without challenges. Here are the main issues or problems associated with aerial work platforms:

Safety: these platforms can reach heights of up to 100 meters and may become unstable and tip over, especially if used on uneven ground, overloaded, or exposed to high winds. The most significant risk for
the operator is free falling, which can result in serious injuries or fatalities.

• Load capacity: weight limitations may restrict the number of workers or the amount of equipment that can be safely lifted at one time at certain heights or horizontal extension.

Easy operation: well controlled and progressive movements simplify the operator usage, especially in tight spaces or difficult environments (electric power lines, uneven ground, windy weather,…)

High initial cost: purchasing AWPs can be expensive.

Hydronit hydraulic Smart Power Unit offers a broad control of AWPs main functionalities, simplifying the hydraulic schematics, at the same time keeping the TCO (total cost of ownership) down, thanks to:

A simplified hydraulic + electronic control with proportional flow and pressure hydraulic valves

Geometric load movement limiter

Cage overload detection

Hydronit Srl produces mini and micro modular hydraulic power packs and DC electropumps, for mobile, industrial and marine applications.

Unlike our largest international competitors, which have multiple businesses in different transmission sectors, our core business is fully committed and focused in the research, development and production of modular hydraulic power packs and relevant components, for which we strive for excellence.

Thanks to our lean organisation and technologies employed, we can significantly reduce the time to market than our competitors.
