Undercarriage stabilizers and leveling systems are critical components of many types of machinery, such as aerial work platforms, cranes, mobile homes,... ensuring stability and safety during operation.

The main concerns associated with undercarriage stabilizers and leveling systems are:

• Instability: improper deployment or leveling of stabilizers can lead to instability, increasing the risk of tipping or collapsing of the equipment, especially on soft uneven, or unstable surfaces

• Load shifts: uneven loading or movement of the load can affect the stability, even if the stabilizers are correctly positioned.

• Hydraulic leaks which can compromise the stability of the equipment

• Power failure of the DC battery for battery operated stabilizers

• Environmental risks if there are leaks or spills of hydraulic fluid

• Automatic levelling, also on uneven or skewed grounds, thanks to the integrated double accelerometers (or external SIL certified inclinometer sensors)

• Automatic recover of hydraulic leakages of load shifts

• Automatic weight control on each stabilizer

• Battery starvation: a manual backup might be necessary in case of power failure of the DC battery, as simple as operate the power unit manually by means of an electric power drill
